WESLEY JAMES
Wesley is a licensed architect and also holds an Arizona KB-1 full residential / commercial contractors license. He founded LINE LAB in 2016 to explore his varied interests in architecture, construction, development, technology, reconciliation ecology, themed entertainment and immersive experience design. Wesley Co-Founded Urban Nature Society, a non-profit organization that seeks to develop and implement ways of making the built environment more hospitable to native species. Wesley has designed and built several pollinator gardens and urban habitats throughout the Phoenix metro area. He seeks to bring some aspect of this work into projects he’s involved with. Wesley is also interested in immersive experiences. He has designed and built several themed bars, restaurants and escape rooms. Wesley has appeared on several themed entertainment podcasts including Wedway Radio. Wesley previously co-founded STARKJAMES and Foundry Development with Brian Stark in 2010. Wesley was featured in the 2016 Discovery Channel show “Blue Collar Backers” where he and Brian worked with State Forty Eight, Barter and Shake and other small business owners to improve their brands through creative design. Wesley runs Reverse Imagineering, a themed entertainment blog and sometimes podcast. Wesley also designs and implements technology when needed into his themed entertainment projects. Wesley often incorporates several technologies into one package, including game design, media creation, custom coding, micro-controllers, electronics fabrication, projection mapping and more.
